Spafford Children’s Center is a charitable institution founded in 1925 in the Old City of Jerusalem. It began as an orphanage but soon grew into a hospital for children in order to meet the medical needs of the day; it became an outpatient center in 1970. Since its establishment, it has provided psychological, social, and educational support in East Jerusalem for children with limited socioeconomic means.
